London beauty-French Peony-Dream Peony

French Peonies are high altitude flowers up in the snowy mountains in France, Italy, Germany and South America.

In India they are to be seen in Karnataka, W Bengal, and, Uttarakhand.

This painting is on influence drawn from Nature and its beautiful bounty.

These are exotic with multi- colored petals. The petals are thin and volumetric due to closely and densely packed petals. All of the London flowers are very impressive in their beauty, colors, delicateness and fragrance. These Peonies and their petals are exquisite, variegated, and a big challenge to make them look realistic as in this sculpture painting. The petals and the flower as a whole have a unique and indescribable twist. The plant on which these flowers grow seem to commune with me as I watch them with fascination !

The flowers seemingly grow in large numbers, closely packed on the branches, and jostling with each other for space !!  This challenge is what makes me project them twisted all over to make them look realistic in volume.
